Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. Alicante Bouschet and Aragonez are trellised in the vertical shoot position and the Touriga Nacional in LYS, a multi-spaced system.
Tasting Notes: Dark ruby coloured. Dark ripe berries and notes of spices from its barrel maturation. Firm tannins, concentration and freshness. Long and lingering finish
Vinification: Manual harvesting. In the winery, the grapes were selected on a vibrating sorting table, and destemmed with a light crushing of the berry. Fermentation took place in mechanical basins and oak vats with intense maceration at a controlled temperature.
Ageing: French oak barrels for nine months. 8 months in bottle.
