CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT
The User commits not to use false identities. Takes responsibility for the accuracy of the data provided and undertakes to update them in Customer Account whenever changes occur.
The Customer is responsible for providing correct and complete shipping details that enables the proper order processing. Gota a Gota Wine House is not responsible for any delays, non-deliveries or returns of orders due to error or insufficient data communicated by the Customer. The product image, although we try to make it as reliable as possible, is for illustration purposes only, may be changed at any time and without prior notice and may not be an exact representation of the product delivered. To ensure the safe shipping of our wines, we do not guarantee the shipping of original boxes, if any.
Products presented in the Online Store may not be available in-store. The opposite could also happen.
All products presented are subject to out of stock and price changes.
All prices displayed are in Euros (€) and inclusive of VAT (value added tax) at the current rate, unless otherwise stated.
Promotions and commercial conditions disclosed at Gota a Gota Wine House Online Store are not valid in-store, unless otherwise indicated.

PAYMENT METHODS
Payment methods accepted at Gota a Gota Wine House Online Store are by Bank Transfer, MB WAY, ATM Reference, Debit Card, Credit Card and PayPal, as available at the Checkout.
ORDER PAYMENT STATUS
Each order may have one of the following possible payment status:
Abandoned: The order was registered but the Customer abandoned the purchase at the time of payment.
Open: The order was registered but at the time of payment the Customer decided to go back to the store or update the products on the shopping cart. If payment is not completed after 1 hour the order status will automatically change to Abandoned. The customer can still complete the purchase before this status change and in that case, after payment is confirmed, the status of the order will be changed to Paid.
Pending Payment: The order has been registered but payment has not yet been confirmed. It does not in itself constitute a reservation. The order will only be confirmed and processed after payment confirmation.
Paid: The order has been registered and its payment confirmed. The order is now confirmed and will be processed from this moment on.
Canceled: The order was canceled due to out of stock, lack of payment or by Customer's request.
DAYS FOR PROCESSING AND SHIPPING ORDERS
Orders are processed during the Store's opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday, except for holiday periods duly disclosed on the Website).
Orders are shipped from Tuesday to Friday. No shipments are made on Mondays, Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
During festive seasons, holidays and vacation periods, orders processing may take longer. In the months of July, August, September, November and December, usually there is a larger delivery time constraints.
As we are a family business, there may be some vacation periods when orders processing may not be immediate. But these situations will be properly announced on the Website.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
An order will only be confirmed and processed after payment confirmation. An order placed without confirmed payment will not itself to a product reservation. If the payment isn't verified within 7 days, the order will be automatically cancelled.
As with the website order number, the order confirmation email does not signify our acceptance of your order, we are simply confirming that we received your order.
All placed orders are subject to verification. In case of a price typing error, we reserve the right to correct it at the order processing moment, with the proper information by telephone or by email to Customer. If the correct price of the product is lower than charged in the order, the difference will be refunded. If the correct price of the product is higher, Customer may choose to pay the difference or to cancel the order and its refund if payment has already been made.
In the event that an order cannot be satisfied in part or in its entirety, the Customer will be contacted in order to find the most appropriate solution.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Any order may be canceled before shipping. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us using our Contact Form or the email address shoponline@gotaagota.pt.
If you wish to cancel an order after its shipment has already been confirmed, please contact us using our email address shoponline@gotaagota.pt so we can find the most suitable solution. Additional costs may occur. See EXCHANGES AND RETURNS from our Refund Policy.
DELIVERIES
You can choose to pick up your order at the store or send it to a specified address.
If you are visiting Porto City and would like to receive your order at the Hotel where you are staying, introduce the hotel details at the shipping address. Do not forget to mention the room number to avoid any loss.
Gota a Gota Wine House is not responsible for shipments made to countries whose law does not allow the entry of alcoholic beverages. It is Customer's responsibility the apprehension of any order, as well as the payment of any customs duty and return fees that may occur therefrom. In case of order returns Gota a Gota Wine House will refund the amount corresponding to the returned products deducted from any fees and costs that may occur therefrom. In case of doubt, contact us before ordering.
SHIPPING COSTS
Collect in Store free of charge.
Free shipping to Mainland Portugal on orders from €60. Not combinable with any other offers or discounts, unless otherwise stated.
Free deliveries in Porto City on orders of and over €60. If you are living in Porto City and you would like to receive our wines free of charge, at home (or at the hotel), please contact directly the Wine Store. Orders placed before 18:00 will be delivered on the same day (after store closing time and except out of stock items). Minimum value per delivery €60. Offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions, unless otherwise stated. Not valid in busy festive seasons, including December from 15th to 24th.
Shipping Costs are automatically calculated on the Online Store according the shipping address and the number of bottles to be shipped. During Checkout, will be displayed the shipping options and its prices in order to be able to select the one that is most convenient for you. In case there is a shipping offer, it will be calculated on the "ORDER REVIEW". Except to the free deliveries in Porto City mentioned in the previous point in which it is required contact directly the Wine Store.
Shipping costs are calculated in levels of 3, 6 and multiples of 6 bottles. However, you can select the quantity you want.

MAXIMUM SHIPPING QUANTITY
Shipping costs are defined in the Online Store for a maximum of 60 bottles. However, there are some areas with restrictions on the maximum quantity allowed per shipment. For these areas, if you wish to order a larger quantity in once, we will send it in separate shipments and on differents dates. See SHIPPING ZONES WITH RESTRICTIONS. Delivery times are merely indicative. Despite all our efforts to ensure that they are met, these delivery times may change for reasons that are not under our control, therefore we will not assume responsibility for any delays.

Cyprus Maximum allowed per express shipping 24 bottles. Maximum allowed per postal shipping 12 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates.
France Corsica Maximum allowed per express shipping 36 bottles. Maximum allowed per postal shipment 12 bottles. For larger quantity we will ship in separate shipments and on differents dates.
Hong Kong Personal: Maximum allowed per shipment 12 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates. Customs fees may be charged to the recipient, which will be the responsibility of the Customer. Business: Importer license required.
Ireland Maximum allowed per shipment 6 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates.
Japan Personal: For shipments of more than 12 bottles of 0.75l and with an invoice value exceeding €500, will be charged customs fees to the recipient (according to the agreement between Japan and the European Union of February 2018). Business: Importer license required.
Macao Personal: Maximum allowed per shipment 6 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates. Customs fees may be charged at the destination, which will be the responsibility of the Customer. Business: Importer license required.
Malta Maximum allowed per express shipping 24 bottles. Maximum allowed per postal shipping 12 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates.
New Zealand Personal: Maximum allowed per shipment 12 bottles. For larger quantity we will send in separate shipments and on differents dates. Customs fees may be charged to the recipient, which will be the responsibility of the Customer. Business: Importer license required.
