Arinto dos Açores 2ª Edição Branco 2018

Grape Varieties: 100% Arinto dos Açores. Arinto dos Açores is an indigenous and exclusive grape variety from the Azores islands. Although it shares the same name and good acidity of the mainland Arinto, the grapes are not related.

Tasting Note: Clean citrus yellow color. Pure, citrus mineral aroma with grapefruit notes. Tense, fresh attack with a very present minerality and acidity, good persistence and saline notes.

Winemaking: Manual selective harvest in 20Kg baskets, whole bunch pressing and transfer after 12h to 600-1000L fermentation vats.

Ageing: 10 months on fine lees and 48 months bottle ageing.

Pairing: Fresh, very mineral and saline. Ideal partner for oysters, barnacles and clams. It also works with grilled fish, salads and fresh seafood.
