Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca from old vineyards in Douro Superior and Cima Corgo.

Tasting Notes: It presents a complex aroma, with fruit and oak very well integrated, revealing notes of spices. In the mouth it is intense and balanced, showing all its strength in a long and persistent finish.

Gastronomy: Red meat, game and cheese.

Vinification: The grapes from Vinhas Velhas were transported in 25kg boxes and subjected to rigorous sorting on a table of choice at the entrance to the winery. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the grapes were gently pressed in hydraulic presses.

Ageing: in French oak barrels (85%) and American oak barrels (15%), where it remained for about 12 months.
