Grape Varieties: Trincadeira Preta
Tasting Note: This wine reveals the unique identity of Casa Cadaval and its Terroir. It has a distinct aroma, highlighting the fruity and spicy character associated with aromas of dry leaves, balsamic and cedar. Elegant, excellent acidity and silky tannins, it has a long and persistent finish.
Winemaking: The grapes harvested by hand, come from a shrub vine, over 70 years old. The winemaking is triggered by a cold extraction, then fermenting the grapes in Lagares, for 2 weeks. The stage is made in a 500 liter French oak vat, about 12 months, in order to guarantee the identity of its origin.
