Grapes: Exclusively Tinta Negra harvested on the slopes of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, on the south coast of the island.
Tasting Note: Bright amber color with orange and yellow reflections. Characteristic exotic wood aromas, caramel, honey and toasted almond. Small notes of iodine, tobacco and nuts.
Gastronomy: Gracious and attractive for any occasion. It is a fine accompaniment to cheeses and it is excelent as a digestive. Must be served at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC. It doesn't have to be decanted. After opening, the wine will remain for several months in good condition.
Winemaking: By fermentation of skins with the juice give the tannins time to dissolve and enabling alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing: In 650 liter French oak barrels until bottling.
