Produced from traditional grape varieties from the Douro Demarcated Region and from the highest areas to ensure freshness. The French oak stage gives it complexity and structure.
Grape varieties: 30% Arinto, 70% Vinhas Velhas. Vineyards aged 20-40 years.
Tasting Note: Color Lemon yellow. Stone fruit, peach, quince and final with notes of honey. Engaging and fresh, good balance with a long finish where fruit notes stand out.
Gastronomy: Goes especially well with roasted fish and seafood.
Winemaking: Grapes selected in the vineyard and cut by hand. Vinification of the plots separately and fermentation in a barrel. Ageing: Aged 9 months in a new 300-liter capacity barrel, with “bâtonnage” of fine lees.
