Description: The Torre vineyard is located in Covas do Douro and was planted in 1950. We have been looking for this vineyard for a long time. An old vineyard with good grazing, vines in excellent conditions and characteristics of altitude and sun exposure that fit perfectly in the Poeira philosophy. A vineyard where we find all the concentration and complexity of the Douro but without excesses. All of it is elegance and balance.
Grape Varieties: Vinha Velha with mixture
Winemaking: Manual harvest for 20kg boxes. Fermentation in stone lagares. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aging for 16 months in French oak barrels. Bottling in March 2020.
