Tricot Tinto 2017

Tricot is a wine made with four hands that faithfully portrays the beauty and tranquility of the Alentejo. It is born from the care and dedication of two winemakers who have combined their visions and experience of many grape harvest to produce unique wines, which are the purest expression of each region.

Grape varieties: 50% old vine from Serra de São Mamede, with a mixture of traditional grape varieties and 50% Touriga Nacional.

Winemaking: Hand harvest in 15 kg boxes with strict selection at the cellar entrance. Vinified in stainless steel vats with post fermentative maceration. 18 months aging in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% used.

Tasting note: Ruby red color. The character of the Serra de S. Mamede vineyards is very present in this wine, giving it freshness and minerality. Touriga Nacional is also very present, with its unmistakable character, resulting in an elegant, complex and harmonious wine.
