Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional
Tasting Note: Deep ruby color. Notes of prune, bergamot, cardamom, licorice and soft coffee hint. Charming, complex, smooth, with very fine tannins, freshness enough, always with great class and elegance. A great wine from a great variety.
Winemaking: Total destemming. 8 days of fermentation with temperature control. 6 days of maceration.
Ageing: 21 months in French oak barrels (70% 3rd year and 30% new).
Ageing Ability: 15-20 years
