Grape Varieties: 90% Avesso, 10% Arinto.
Soil: Granitic
Tasting Notes: Floral bouquet with citrus notes and aromatic herbs, such as sage and thyme. It presents a golden-yellow color due to the maceration process. The mouth is graceful, vibrant and zesty.
Winemaking: Harvested in 25kg boxes, the grapes were selected upon arrival at the winery. After destemming and crushing, about 1/3 of the Avesso was subjected to a pellicular maceration for 6 days. The resulting finished fermentation in used French oak barrels. 2/3 of the grapes were gently pressed. The must was sent to a stainless steel vat where it fermented at a controlled temperature. After decanting, the wine continued to age on fine lees for 8 months, until it was filtered and bottled at the beginning of July.
