Chocapalha Vinha Mãe Reserva Tinto 2017

Grape Varieties: 35% Touriga Nacional, 35% Syrah, 30% Tinta Roriz. 31 year old vineyards.

Tasting Notes: Opaque in color with violet hue. Good concentration on the nose, with notes of ripe black fruit and some floral notes. In the mouth, it presents freshness, with rich and ripe tannins, which gives the wine an excellent structure and great potential for aging in the bottle. The finish is intense, elegant and long.

Winemaking: The grapes, previously destemmed, underwent a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperatures,
for 18 hours. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in mills, not exceeding 26ºC, for 10 days, using a treading robot. Malolactic fermentation and aging were carried out in French oak barrels for 20 months.
