Conceito Bastardo Tinto 2021

This wine is 100% Bastardo, a very important grape variety in the 18th century, which was steadily abandoned as new criteria became established, because of its early maturing and weak colour.

Grape Varieties: 100% Bastardo from 40 years old vineyards.

Winemaking: Grapes hand-picked and transported to the cellar in 20kg boxes, then trodden on foot in granite lagars, without destemming and without adding yeast. As soon as the alcoholic fermentation ends the wine is transferred to stainless steel vats.

Ageing: 10 months in stainless steel vat.
