Grape Varieties: 40% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Touriga Nacional, 10% Touriga Franca.
Tasting Note: Clear, garnet color. Seductive aromatic profile with aromas of cocoa, menthol, raisin figs and tobacco. With present but soft tannins, it finishes long and elegant.
Gastronomy: Perfect for the typical Alentejo lamb, other roasts in the oven or spicy grilled meats. Recommended consumption temperature 16ºC to 18ºC.
Vinification: Manual harvest at night with selection at a table of choice. Total destemming followed by passage through a mass exchanger. Fermentation in stainless steel vats, of reduced dimensions, with temperature control in order to preserve all the aromatic elegance. Aging for 12 months in oak barrels (80% French and 20% American), followed by the same period in bottle.
