Dão Álvaro Castro Encruzado Branco 2023

Grape Varieties: 100% Encruzado. Vineyards aged 15 to 45 years.

Tasting Note: Mineral notes and fresh fruit combined with some citrus. Very soft and fresh texture in the mouth. Elegant, with well integrated fruit and acidity, it finishes long.

Soil: Granite with lines of clay and sand.

Winemaking: After a few hours of contact on the day of the harvest a very slow fermentation followed for two and a half months. The 3-month batonnage provoked a good volume increase that combines quite well with its acidity and minerality. Bottling and aging in bottle. This wine has a great aging potential (more than 10 years).
