Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes: Bright and intense red color. The aroma has good intensity and persistence with enveloping floral notes and red fruits and vanilla. In the mouth it is vinous and fresh, good tannins and enveloping body, good notes of red fruits. Finish persistent and prolonged.
Vinification and Ageing: Manual harvest in 20Kg boxes, 100% destemmed, fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature at 24/26ºC for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine aged for 10 months, partly in 3rd year barrels and partly in used French oak barrels.
Ageing Curve: Very positive bottle aging is expected over the next 10 years.
How to Serve: Decant 5 minutes beforehand for the wine to breathe. Serve between 16-17ºC. Unfiltered wine, so it may have deposits.
