Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional. Vineyard planted in schist soils at an altitude of over 400m.
Tasting note: Open salmon color, aromas with nuances of red fruits, spicy notes and light balsamic. Fresh and balanced mouth with excellent volume and final complexity.
Vinification: Manual harvest into small 12kg boxes. Grapes cooled in a cold room before being vinified. After destemming, they were gently pressed under vacuum. Cold decanting for 24 hours. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.
Ageing: Part of the wine in used French oak barrels for 5 months and part in clay carvings, also for 5 months.
