Grape Varieties: 100% Alicante Bouschet

Location of the Vineyards: Vidigueira

Climate: Mediterranean with continental influence

Soils: Clay with schist origin

Tasting Note: Deep red color, typical of the variety. Lots of woods, pine needles, cocoa and smoked notes on the nose. Full flavor, fleshy, intense, balanced by a surprising acidity. Excellent for the table.

Gastronomy: Ideal for oven-roasted dishes (lamb and goat) and game dishes. Recommended consumption temperature 16ºC to 18ºC.

Winemaking: Manual harvest with selection on a sorting table. Total destemming followed by cold shock in a mass exchanger. Fermentation takes place in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 12 months.
