Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet.
Tasting Note: Dark cherry concentrated color. Aromas of dark cherry, spicy, floral notes in a toffee mixture. In the mouth you can feek the ripe tannins with a elegant and persistence finish.
Gastronomy: Best accompanied with strong and spicy food, game and roasted food dishes.
Winemaking: All grapes are carefully hand picked and selected in the vineyard and transported in 18kgs cases. In the winery controled temperature fermentation followed by a 25 days cuvaison.
Ageing: Controversial as Joaquim Alves, this wine spent 18 months in new French oak barrels.
