Tasting Notes: Intense ruby colour. Characteristic Atlantic wine, where balsamic nuances of resin and cedar are involved with iodine and saline sensations. Huge structure and great aging potential.
Vinification: Partial destemming of the grapes before entering the mill, where they were trodden by foot for 7 days. Finishing of the alcoholic fermentation in vinaigrette French oak barrels. The 2-year aging in wood is followed by another year of refining in the bottle at the Messias family cellars located in Bairrada.
