Grape Varieties: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Arinto, Cercial.
Terroir: Atlantic-influenced climate, protected by the Serras do Caramulo and Buçaco. Vineyards planted at high density (up to 6172 feet per hectare) on gentle hills of clay-limestone soils, in the region's famous limestone patch. Completely rainfed vineyards.
Tasting Note: Bright lemon yellow. Pronounced aroma of grapefruit and lemon, accompanied by peach stone fruit and notes of wet stones. Medium body, with vibrant acidity and a permanent minerality that translates into a sapid and refreshing finish.
Vinification: Light cold pre-fermentation maceration. Gentle pressing in a pneumatic press. Fermentation in batches, in stainless steel with temperature control, then passing around 20% into used 300-liter French oak barrels where fermentation ends and aging begins. Bâtonnage only for the first 4 to 6 months. Malolactic may occur in some of the batches. The aging in barrels lasts around 6 months, and then also passes to stainless steel tanks where it remains until bottling. It is released on the market with a few months in the bottle for better harmony.

Longevity: Up to 6 years after harvest date.
