In the heart of Vidigueira, in the southern foothills of Serra do Mendro, in schist soils with Franco Arenosa and Franco Limosa textures, the vineyards are planted, which gave rise to this wine.
Grape Varieties : Traditional varieties, mainly Roupeiro, Antão Vaz and Gouveio.
Tasting Note: Citrus in color, it is complex and deep in aroma, with notes of stone fruit and white pulp. Dense and wide in the mouth, it has the presence and reactivity of tannins from the partial tanning, which give it freshness and texture.
Vinification: The hand-picked grapes were trodden by foot in a mill for 2 days. At the spontaneous start of fermentation, the grapes were pressed and the must kept in used oak barrels until the end of the alcoholic fermentation. Aging for 8 months was carried out in full lees fermentation barrels, with a slight agitation every month.
