Grape Varieties: Old Vines. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Sousão.
Vineyard altitude: 160 to 650m
Soil: Shale and Schist/Granite
Tasting Notes: Grenate colour with great depth. The aroma reveals the exuberance of ripe fruit and notes of fresh hay, wet land, vanilla and spices. Once in the mouth, it surprises for its strength, velvety texture and aromatic richness in an attractive and modern assemble.
Vinification: The technology is minimalist taking place in granite tanks with mechanical crushing. After the fermentation, with about a week of tanning, the wine was transferred to stainless steel tanks where it naturally cleared. After the malolactic, the wine was transferred to french oak barrels, where it aged for twelve months.
How to Serve: Serve at 15ºC, decantation is recommended. Given its characteristics it is appropriate for celebration days, to give a certain glamour to oven dishes.
