Procura na Ânfora comes from an exceptional 85-year-old vineyard, located 700 meters above sea level in the Serra de São Mamede. Amphoras, or carvings, are the traditional winemaking system in Alentejo, although the “Brancos de Talha” were traditionally vinified with skin contact and without temperature control. The Procura in Amphora is vinified after having pressed and decanted, with temperature control, to preserve the characteristics of the extraordinary vineyard from which the grapes come.
