Grape Varieties: Blend of old grape varieties with an average age of over 80 years, including traditional varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Rufete and Tinto Cão.

Tasting Notes: With garnet colors and crimson reflections. Intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, raspberry jam, cocoa, tobacco, pepper, cardamom. The palate confirms this first impression with a broad, full attack, with an intense prelude. A generous, velvety and sensual palate. With notes of ripe wild berries and spices with a lively background, a balanced and harmonious set. Long and fleshy finish, with a presence of integrated tannins, testify to a remarkable capacity of reserve: while still young, it will gain an even greater complexity in the coming years.

Vinification: In "lagares" with foot treading. Stage in wooden barrels.

Ageing: 20 months in old Portuguese brown wooden barrels.

Service Temperature: 15º to 16ºC.

Shelf life: More than 20 years.
