Varieties: 100% Tinto Cão
Tasting Notes: This Tinto Cão with a fine but rich texture offers lush red fruit, earthy aromas and some subtle floral notes. Originating from the oldest portion of Tinto Cão in Romaneira, fully exposed to the southeast, it maintains an invigorating and bright acidity. Very pleasant to drink now, the wine should hold up well in the bottle for several years.
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel vats for 7 days where malolactic fermentation takes place.
Ageing: This entire batch of Tinto Cão was aged in second and third year French oak barrels for 10 months.
