Soil: Granitic
Grape Varieties: Encruzado, Bical and Malvasia Fina. Vineyard age 25-30 years.
Tasting Notes: Color: Clear and bright yellow, with golden nuances. Nose: Good aromatic intensity suggesting floral notes and ripe stone fruit, combined with a touch of wood. Mouth: Ripe fruit, including apricot and pineapple, with a hint of lime zest. The integration of the wood is subtle, with hints of vanilla and coconut at the end. Rich and creamy mouthfeel, well-balanced acidity and persistent flavors. The fruit, well combined with the structure given by the wood, gives this wine a lot of versatility.
Vinification: Cold decanting and fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 17ºC. Finished fermentation in new French oak barrels.
Ageing: Barrel with battonage for 1 year.
