Grape Varieties: 30% Alicante Bouschet, 30% Aragonez, 20% Trincadeira, 20% Alfrocheiro.
Terroir: Stony and undulated ground, medium altitude, natural drainage, humidity control, Atlantic/Mediterranean climate (Figueira de Cima).
Tasting notes: Color: Carmim Aroma: fresh, full of black fruit. Taste: good concentration, both elegant and silky. Fresh mature fruit, and focused on plum and black cherry. The soft tannins provide excellent balance to the wine. Good length in elegant finish.
Viticulture and Enology: Principal focus on growing quality grapes. Sustainable agriculture production, with several selective trimmings to reduce the production yield down to 4.000kg/ha. Night harvest and separated by varieties. Clean berries fermentation and by separated varieties without treading into Seguin Moreau french oak vats during a long period. Own yeast. Malolactic fermentation in Seguin Moreau barrels by varieties adapting the timing to them, an average of 12 months. Minimum application of Sulphites. Varieties blend, bottling and bottle aging for 1 year at the State.
Suggestions: We recommend consuming a glass with an everyday meal at home. It is a natural and healthy product that should be drunk as part of an enjoyable daily meal. Relatively young and fresh ages well in which case it should be decanted as all its older Reynolds siblings. To be served at 16/18ºC
