Exclusively Verdelho from different harvest years and with an average age of 10 years. Fermentation of skins, with fermentation and temperature control.
Varieties: 100% Verdelho.
Tasting Notes: Amber with golden nuances and orange reflections. Citrus and intense and complex bouquet of wood, ethereal, with notes of iodine, dried fruits and spice. Medium-dry, well-structured acidity and body and a balanced sweetness and dense tannins. Notes of honey, toast, dried fruits and some spices.
Gastronomy: The precious heritage left behind by previous generations to age in our cellars, make this wine an excellent nectar to be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a fine soup, a bittersweet starter or a fresh tropical fruit.
Winemaking: Open spout with temperature control. Stalked and pressed grapes. Interruption of fermentation by adding neutral wine alcohol at 96% Vol.
Ageing: In 650 litres oak barrels.
Expected Longevity: Madeira wines, due to their characteristics and fortification, are of great longevity.
