Grape varieties: Old Vineyards of Malvasia Fina, Códega, Rabigato, Arinto and Fernão Pires.
Tasting Notes: Amber colour. Abundant aroma of yellow dried fruits (peach and apricot), with hints of honey and bee wax. Soft and delicate palate, with dried fruits hints. Very long and complex aftertaste.
Winemaking: Partly destemmed grapes , 1 day of maceration and 2 days of fermentation in cement treading tanks. Fortification at 8º Baumé.
Ageing: 100% Oxidativoe during 40 years in 600 liters oak barrels.
Food Pairing: Good witn desserts like pies and dried fruit cakes. Also good with Crème Brulée.
Service Temperature: Serve at 12ºC
Cellar Advice: Doesn’t age in bottle. The wine will keep its properties during some weeks after opening.
