Grape Varieties: Produced from traditional red grape varieties from the Douro Demarcated Region, such as Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca.
Vinification and Ageing: The fermentation process is interrupted at the ideal time, in accordance with the traditional method of Port Wine production, which includes stopping fermentation through the addition of brandy of wine origin. This is followed by a prolonged aging in wood, which gives these wines complex aromas and flavors. These are wines from a single harvest, which reveal the character of the year. Aging in casks continues until bottling, with the date indicated on the back label.
In Tasting: A Colheita with a delicate profile, revealing great complexity on the nose, highlighting aromas of figs and dried apricots, with a touch of honey. In the mouth, it appears with a silky texture, but quickly evolved on the palate, proving intense, with the fruit reappearing full of magnitude, surrounded by a freshness present throughout the entire tasting.
At the Table: Pairs with desserts based on eggs and nuts. Perfect with fruit pies, especially apple and pear. It should be served between 12ºC and 16ºC.
Conservation: Store the bottle vertically, preferably protected from light, at a low and constant temperature.
