Dão Álvaro Castro Reserva Tinto 2018

Grape Varieties: 30% Touriga Nacional, 30% Alfrocheiro and 40% field-blend of old vine. Vines aged 20 to 60 years.

Tasting Note: Intense and fine aroma with notes of ripe red fruit, spices and great complexity. Soft mouth with great freshness, well-matured mature tannins, long and appealing finish.

Soil: granite with lines of clay and sand.

Vinification: The grapes were vinified respecting all their nature, fermentation took place in a stainless steel press. Aged for 16 months in 4 and 6 year old allier oak barrels.
