Dão Álvaro Castro Tinto 2019

Grape varieties: Touriga-Nacional (30%), Jaen (25%), Alfrocheiro (25%) and Tinta Roriz (20%). Vineyards aged 15 to 30 years.

Tasting Note: Intense and fine aroma with notes of ripe red fruit, spices and some toast. Soft mouth and pleasant fruit, well-matured ripe tannins, long and appealing finish.

Soil: Granite with lines of clay and sand.

Vinification: Fermentation took place in a stainless steel mill with controlled temperature (28º to 31º C). Aged for 14 months in 2nd year allier oak barrels.
