Made to be enjoyed around a good plate of food, this red wine will bring harmony and balance to everyday meals as well as special occasions. It is not trying to be the best wine in the world, but one which is inviting, fresh and fun, charming the palate with its Douro character and simplicity. In order to retain all the wine’s vivacity, only a small amount of wood was used in the ageing process.
Grape Varieties: Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela. Average Vine Age 10 to 40 Years.

Tasting Notes: This red wine opens with aromas of fresh red berries, complemented by subtle hints of graphite that add a refined, earthy touch. As the wine evolves in the glass, floral notes emerge, lending elegance and complexity to the bouquet. On the palate, it is round and well-balanced,
Vinification: After arriving at the Quinta de Nápoles, the grapes were carefully destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures for approximately one week. A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barriques whereas the rest of the wine remained in stainless steel for about 6 months.
