Seara D'Ordens Vindimas 2ª Edição Tinto

The purpose of Vindimas editions is to realease into the market distinguish wines. In this 2nd edition, the blend of several crops stands out (2017, 2018, and 2019). With a very careful vinification, the best batches had been selected and kept in our cellars. It had result has a perfect and harmonious conjugation presented as a modern style where the complecity, structure, soft tannins and final freshness results as a well-balanced wine.

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional (70%), blend of several grapes (old vines).

Tasting Note: Deep ruby. Aromas of ripe fruit, floral notes, deep, exotic wood. In flavour it is vinous, full-bodied, smooth, spicy, deep and fresh.

Vinification: 100% destemmed, vinified in stainless steel vats with temperature control.

Ageing: 2017: 3 years ageing in oak. 2018: 2 years ageing in oak. 2019: 1 year ageing in oak.

Gastronomy: Goat cheese and buttery sheep, traditional sausages, red meats, delicate and consistent dishes.

Ageing Potential: It is a ripe and intense wine, specific of the “Terroir” of the Douro, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for many years after bottling.
