Herdade da Pimenta Vinha do Botas Tinto 2019

Grape Varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira.

Tasting Notes: Color: Deep ruby hue with violet hints. Aroma: Complex aroma of red berries with balsamic and earthy notes. Palate: Remarkable freshness and an excellent structure and balance, with high-quality tannins. It has a complex finish, showing great elegance.

Vinification: Manual harvested with selection in the vineyard. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts with controlled temperature between 21ºC and 25ºC. Fermentation in stainless steel with whole berries and 20% of stalks. Maceration of 30 days. Malolatic fermentation in french oak barrels.

Ageing: 18 months in 5000L french oak foudre.

Gastronomy: Red meat, lamb, game and soft cheeses.
