João Clara Syrah Tinto 2018

Right in the center of the Algarve, the João Clara project continues part of the dream with a new creation a real Algarvian Syrah wine arises, which is mature and fresh.

Grape Varieties: 100% Syrah

Tasting note: This wine was elected by Joana Clara, daughter of João, as her first creation. This wine shows an intense colour, in the aroma violets and blackberries, which are well integrated with creamy notes from the barrel. In the mouth is intense, with ripe tannins and good elegance.

Gastronomy: Goes well with cheese and red meats.

Vinification: The grapes were hand picked and carefully selected in the vineyard, vinified with cold maceration of 4 days followed by cuivaison of 16 days.

Ageing: Syrah João Clara 2017 aged for 16 months in French Oak barrels.
