Lacrau Superior Tinto 2021

Profile: Wine with good depth and aromatic complexity. Excellent integration of barrel notes. Good structure, firm but silky tannins. Too long.

Grape Varieties: Several plots of old vines, where in some of them more than 20 different grape varieties can be identified. Vines over 50 years old.

Tasting Note: Dark brown color with good intensity and depth. Aroma: Complex and deep reminiscent of ripe red and black fruits surrounded by spicy notes that give elegance. On the palate it has soft tannins surrounded by the fruit. Good mouth aroma. Excellent structure. Very long finish.

Winemaking: Hand harvesting. Manual selection of curls. Destemming followed by crushing. Fermentation in a mill with foot treading and fermentation in stainless steel vats with post fermentative maceration.

Ageing: In oak casks between 14 to 18 months.
