Origin/Region: Borba, Regional Wine, Alentejo, Portugal.
Grape Varieties: 34% Aragonez, 32% Touriga Nacional, 12% Alicante Bouschet, 7% Touriga Franca, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot, 4% Tinta Caiada.
Tasting Notes: Bright red with hints of violet. The bouquet is floral and spicy, with pleasant notes of pepper and a touch of smoke. Pleasant and medium-bodied, gently structured, but with a good substantial extract of juicy red fruit.
Winemaking: Monte do Zambujeiro is made from our youngest vines, grapes harvested manually and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels. No proteins of animal origin were used.
Pairing: Serve between 13-16°C, accompany with pasta, pizza and grilled meats. Consume between the years 2023 and 2028. Store below 15ºC.
