Vineyards: Until 2019, the vineyards located at Quinta do Porto Nogueira were cultivated under sustainable agricultural practices certified by the “Normas de Produção Integrada”. Currently the vines are managed in Organic Production Mode.
Grape Varieties: 100% Encruzado
Tasting Notes: Citrus color, bright appearance, elegant and defined aromas of white pulp fruits, some gunpowder notes, with slight toast nuances. Elegant mouth with excellent dimension and freshness. Finishes complex and with greasiness, presenting an excellent final balance
Vinification: Rigorous selection and selection of bunches and berries made from 100% of the grapes. Gentle pneumatic pressing, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 15ºC in small-capacity stainless steel vats. Partial fermentation in used French oak barrels followed by batonnage for 120 days.
