Quinta do Pôpa Tinta Roriz Tinto 2021

Quinta Wine. The grapes come from a vineyard plot at Quinta do Pôpa, located in the Cima Corgo sub-region. These are wines that begin to be designed when they are pruned and that, after entering the winery, suffer the least possible intervention. Launched only in years when the behaviour of the plot meets the expectations of the profile and quality required.

Grape Varieties: 100% Tinta Roriz.

Vinification: Reception of the grapes in a 20kg box with total destemming and no crushing. The whole berries were received in lagares and were crushed with the traditional way of treading on foot. The alcoholic fermentation occurred entirely in lagares, and the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats.

Ageing: 18 months in stainless steel vats. Ageing in bottle for 1 to 4 years in the cellar before selling.

Gastronomy: Wines that, by combining freshness, complexity and finesse, together with a suggestive persistence, are capable of pairing with several types of gastronomy and different confections.
