Quinta do Vesúvio Vintage 2019

Considered one of the most magnificent estate in the Douro Valley, Quinta do Vesuvio is the last major Douro property to produce its Port wines exclusively using the traditional method of treading in granite lagares, an unbroken tradition since the winery was built in 1827.

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional 35%, Touriga Franca 33%, Alicante Bouschet 18%, Vinhas Velhas 8% and Tinta Amarela 6%.

Tasting Note: Typical aromas of black currant and rosemary with notes of fennel, whose fragrance is often carried by the breeze in the Vesuvius vineyards. In the mouth, the wine provides rich black fruit flavors, opulent and silky, yet with substantial volume and powerful structure. Very polished tannins provide a long and luxurious aftertaste.

Storage and Consumption: Store lying down. Decant before serving and enjoy within 2-3 days.
