Vineyards: In 2017, the vineyards located at Quinta do Porto Nogueira were cultivated under sustainable agricultural practices certified by the “Normas de Produção Integrada”. Currently these vineyards are managed in Organic Production Mode.
Grape Varieties: 60% Touriga Nacional, 40% Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes: Wine with an intense ruby color, beautiful shade of ripe cherry, aromas of ripe red fruits, with some notes of cocoa and mint, mineral with notes of flint and elegant, intense freshness of mint and some rockrose to reveal the Atlantic character. . In the mouth it reveals excellent freshness, with fine acidity, firm, subtle but voluminous and well-matured tannins. Balanced finish with great freshness to finish long and intense. With enormous potential for evolution in the next 10 years.
Vinification: Rigorous selection and selection of bunches and berries made from 100% of the grapes. Fermentation in mills with pre-fermentative macerations. Aging for 12 months in French Séguin Moreau oak barrels.
