Soils: Clayey
Vineyards: In 2017, the vineyards located at Quinta do Porto Nogueira were cultivated under sustainable agricultural practices certified by the “Standards of Integrated Production”. Currently these vineyards are managed in Organic Production Mode.
Grape Varieties: 60% Arinto and 40% Chardonnay
Tasting Notes: Citrus-colored sparkling wine with golden hints, fine bubbles and an intense and persistent cord, with aromas of yellow plum, notes of spices with some nuances of breadmaking and minerality present. In the mouth it reveals an intense and vibrant acidity with crunchy notes, palpitating vivacity and noticeable greasiness, which gives it an intense, fresh finish with great firmness and remarkable persistence.
Vinification: Rigorous selection and selection of bunches and berries made from 100% of the grapes. Gentle pressing with whole bunches, fermentation of part of the batch in French Séguin Moreau oak barrels, with subsequent assemblage with the remaining batch, in small-capacity stainless steel vats, at a temperature of 15ºC. Bottling in February 2018.
Dégorgement: In November 2020, after 30 months of aging in bottle.
