“A natural talent is something you need in order to evolve”: With this wine we wish to honour João Leite Moreira, who’s had the talent and skill to help develop the Quinta Seara d’Ordens with masterful innovation. The blend of traditional varieties grapes, produced in Quinta Seara D'Ordens to a half hillside altitude gave origin to this Red TalentVs Altitude.
Grape Varieties: A bend of several traditional Douro varieties. The grapes that gave rise to this wine result from a rigorous selection.
Tasting Note: Color: Ruby. Aroma: Fruity and spicy. Taste: Complex, fresh and elegant.
Vinification: Fermentation in mill with foot treading. Finishing the malolactic fermentation in used 500l barrels, where it aged for 19 months.
Ageing: 19 months in used French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
Gastronomy: Buttered goat and sheep cheeses, traditional sausages, red meats, delicate and consistent dishes. It is recommended to consume at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
Ageing Ability: It is an intense, mature wine, specific to the “Terroir” of the Douro, with a positive aging in the bottle for many years after bottling.
