Port Wine aged for 30 years in big oak barrels in our warehouses in Douro. Spices and dried fruit aromas (walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts). Goes along very well with several desserts, should be served slightly chilled during the summer and at room temperature during the winter along with a pleasant conversation. It results from a blend with the best aged wines.
Grape Varieties: The noblest grape varieties of Douro Valley.
Tasting Note:Colour: Golden with Topaz reflections. Aroma: Pronounced bouquet with fruit notes like orange and plum, ends with notes of dried fruits and spicies. Taste: Velvety, rich, complex, with notes of spices and dry fruits.
Gastronomy: Regional desserts, pão-de-ló, dried fruits, pie of figs or almonds or simply enjoyed alone. Service Teperature: 14ºC.
Vinification: 100% destemming, fermentation in stainless steel vats.
Ageing: The ageing of the various batches in oak barrels that make up this wine, on average, is over 30 years.
Ageing Capacity: It is an intense wine, well-evolved and fresh maintaining its characteristics for a several years after bottling.
