Grape Varieties: Alvarinho
Tasting Notes: This wine reflects the expression of the Alvarinho variety in granitic soils of the terroir of Monção and Melgaço. Of high freshness, it has a citrus color and fruity aromas, and an enveloping flavor.
Vinification: Total destemming, pre-fermentation skin maceration. Pressing the grape must until pression of 0.8 bar. Natural sedimentation by static decanting for 24 hours at 14ºC.
Fermentation: In stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 17ºC, until total breakdown of sugars.
Ageing: In stainless steel vats, with fine lees until bottling. Followed by six months of ageing in bottle.
