Origin/Region: Borba, Regional Wine, Alentejo, Portugal.
Grape Varieties: 50% Touriga Nacional, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes: A special selection of the best lots from the harvest year. Produced in very small quantities and only in the best years. Deeply complex in a bouquet of aromas, with notes of dried flowers, black tea, cedar and smoke. Intense structure, with a lot of black fruit extract, firm and balanced tannins, with a creamy aftertaste, very well supported by the fresh and balanced acidity. Impressive aftertaste with lots of fruit. A mythical approach to the character and aromas of the Alentejo lands.
Winemaking: Manual harvest from our oldest vines. The grapes are chosen manually on our selection table. Fermentation in vats and small stainless steel tanks. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels. It was not filtered.
Pairing: Serve between 14º-17ºC, decant while young, can be drunk without food, but it pairs very well with meat dishes, pasta dishes, aged cheeses. Consume from 2023 to 2043. Store below 15ºC.
