Origin/Region: Borba, Regional Wine, Alentejo, Portugal.
Grape Varieties: 37% Chardonnay, 28% Antão Vaz, 19% Roupeiro and 16% Arinto.
Tasting Notes: Golden, intense bouquet of citrus, flowers, mint and vanilla. Sumptuous, creamy, soft, balanced by a refreshing acidity, persistent fruit, a pleasant smoky touch. A mineral aftertaste, with fine, dry tannins. A classic and well-structured wine for special occasions.
Winemaking: Manual harvesting and selection of grapes. Gently pressed, fermented and aged for 11 months in French oak barrels (30% new) with frequent batonage.
Pairing: Pairs well with vegetarian dishes, poultry, fish, seafood, salads or alone. Drink between 7-9ºC. Consume until 2028. Store below 15ºC.
