Grape Varieties: Galego Dourado
Tasting Notes: Amber color with golden hints. Intense aroma denoting age and great evolution. Notes of spices and nuts (almond and hazelnut), wrapped in a smooth and pleasant finish and a remarkable acidity. Velvety with a caramelized flavor and notes of dried figs, raisins and some persistent smoke. Full-bodied and well balanced between its structure and a remarkable final acidity.
Vinification: After destemming, the grapes are crushed and pressed. The tear must fermented in wooden barrels for approximately 1 month. After finishing the alcoholic fermentation, the necessary wine spirit is added to raise the alcohol content to around 18%. A percentage of tear must was added to this brandy so that the wine contains some residual sugar. It was aged for several years in wooden barrels.
Gastronomy: Excellent as an aperitif or at the end of a meal with a coffee in the good company of dark chocolate and a good cigar.
